For issuing the new biometrical passport, necessery documents are as followed:

1) Serbian citizenship certificate (document should be up to six mounts old; for those who are abroad, up to one year is tolerable)

2) Birth certificate issued by the official authorities of the Republic of Serbia.  Also, the birth certificates from ex-Yugoslav republics are acceptable (document should be up to six mounts old, for those who are abroad, up to one year old is tolerable).     

3) Identification document for the applicant (old passport of Federal Republic of Yugoslavia - so called ``blue passport``, personal ID card or any other public document that can be used for identification - exp. driving licence).  In case if the applicants do not have any of above mentioned documents, then the valid foreign ID card or passport is acceptable.
