Consul General Zoran Markovic did a courtesy visit to the President of the Istanbul municipality Bayrampasa , Mr. Attila Ajdineru . On that occasion , in the long and friendly conversation , exchanged views on the possibilities of further deepening the relationship between the city and municipality in Serbia with the municipality Bayrampasa , which with 270,000 residents and more than 500,000 workers is a significant economic potential of Istanbul.
Both sides agreed that cooperation is moving upwards , what is responsible for a large emigrant communities in the area of Republic of Serbia .
Are discussed and directions for joint action with the aim of intensifying economic cooperation . Noted the need to renew activities aimed at achieving the return visit of businessmen and potential investors from the municipality town of Nis , with whom cooperation started back in 2010th year. In this regard, they agreed on concrete steps to municipal authorities and the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in Istanbul.
