Zoran Markovic, Consul General paid his first visit to Izmir during which he had several important meetings, including the Izmir governor Mr. Mustafa TORPAK, Izmir Mayor Aziz Kocaoglu and a President of Izmir Chamber of Commerce Mr. Ekrem Demirtas. During a visit to Izmir, Zoran Markovic met Serbian students who are studying at one of Izmir University, and had a conversation with the Rector of Izmir University of Economics PhD Oguz Esen. During his stay in Izmir, Consul General Markovic has been followed by the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Serbia in Izmir and respected member of the local communities Mr. Metin Akdurak .
