The promotion of the Turkish edition of the novel Via Romana by Vuk Draskovic was organized in the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in Istanbul on the 17th June. The promotion was organized together with the record company Kapi Yayinlari and it was attended by journalists from the Turkish Cultural editorial print media, as well as two TV stations. On this occasion Minister V. Draskovic expressed the hope that the Via Romana gain readership like in Serbia, adding that our common history linked our language, culture, nature and traditions. He said that "this is the reason why, Turkish TV series and movies are perspective not only in Serbia but also in the entire Balkan region, which for several centuries was part of the great Ottoman Empire. We combine our hostility, our ignorance and misconceptions. We know each other and interconnected more than we are willing to admit. "
Previously, organized at the initiative of the owner of the above mentioned publishing house, Minister V. Draskovic and Z.Marković are invited to a lunch with businessmen in the region of Tekirdag, to the University of Namik Kemal, where was organized a meeting of Minister V. Draskovic with the Turkish president A.Gul.
