In Bursa from 07th to 12th July held an international competitive festival of amateur folk art societies. The participants were representatives of 18 countries, including representatives of FYR. Serbia was represented by KUD "Ivo Lola Ribar" from Belgrade. Our Cultural Community on the final night won first place and a prize of 5,000 euros.

Participation, and even more wins of KUD "Ivo Lola Ribar" in the competition arose out of the participation in an international festival. In the current political moment, the way the Turkish public reacted to their performance, a contribution to the deepening of friendly relations between the two peoples and the creation of a broader climate for our positioning in Bursa.
