Mayor of Bayrampasa, Municipality with the best organized community of Serbian emigrants, Mr. Atila Aydiner, paid a visit to Consul General Mr. Zoran Markovic on 23rd of February. Although the main reason of the visit was the forthcoming “Ramadan Caravan”, traditionally organized in countries of Balkan and this year visiting Serbian cities Belgrade, Novi Pazar and Sjenica, the occasion was also used to mutually emphasize great importance of such events, stepping outside of narrow religious frames and serving as a good cause for deepening relationships between people of the two countries, all of which based on the widely accepted premise that “ Without peace and good relations between Bosniaks and Serbs, there is no peace in Balkans”.

This event is highly important for establishing economic cooperation, with foundation set in the previous period, making this the right time for further deepening. In this respect, it was agreed for Mr. Markovic to give a presentation to local businessmen from Bayrampasa and information valuable for their potential investments in Serbia. It has also been concluded that economic cooperation entails all other forms of cooperation, which is an upgrade and important condition for the common prosperity of people of the two countries.
